QualityOne Vaults support management of a variety of periodic quality reviews of an organization’s products, processes, and suppliers. Periodic Reviews lets you complete the entire periodic review process in Vault, from data collection to information collation to production of a final report, providing a centralized location to store and access information and automated tools to streamline your periodic reviews. Currently, QMS supports the APQR and SPR periodic review processes.

About the Periodic Reviews Process

The periodic review process varies depending on the review type. A typical periodic review process generally includes some or all of the following steps:

  1. Create a Periodic Review Template to define a structure for an APQR or SPR periodic review.
  2. Create an object record for an APQR or SPR periodic review from the template you created.
  3. Add or generate documents from each periodic review item.
  4. Generate an APQR or SPR binder to store the periodic review documents.
  5. Generate a merged PDF document as the output of your APQR or SPR process to collate all artifacts from the periodic review into a final report.
